When it comes to seafood you either love it or hate it. But as soon as you try it for the first time, you find out that your distaste was unnecessary. Of course, we don´t mean fish itself, because fish are very common in our menu. We will tell you which type of seafood is the most tasty one.

They may not look tempting, but their taste is divine. Have you tried them?

Shrimps

Let´s start with classic.  Shrimps belong to one of the most favourite seafood out there. You can choose from a number of spieces. The largest ones are called King Prawns and they are followed by Tiger Prawns. Surely the fresh shrimps taste the best. The quality ones you´ll recognise by shiny shell, no stains and pleasant aroma. It tastes great with vegetable salad, garlic and white wine, butter or crispy bread.

Blue Mussels

These mussels are characterized by a sea aroma and slightly salty taste. Their meat is solid, lean and contains many vitamins and proteins. They´re processed by heat treatment in alive state and served cooked. The mussel is being closed before cooking. We don´t consume the mussels which won´t open while the process, otherwise we could get digestives problems. The mussels cooked on white wine without shells, served with root vegetables also taste excellent.

Octopuses

Despite of the unpleasant look of this cephalopod it actually tastes delicious. Usually we eat only its tentacles. The meat is harder with stronger aroma and it is great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. The most popular way of preparation is cooking, frying, baking or grilling.

Calamari

Have you heard of traditional Calamari rings? If not, don´t be afraid to try them. They´re tasty and rich in many omega-3 fatty acids. The meat is white and soft with slightly sweet flavor. The rings can be served fried or stuffed and baked.

Monkfish

And finally, we add one special fish. Monkfish, by looks is not very welcoming but its meat definitely belongs to the greatest seafood delicacies. The taste reminds of lobster and one of its biggest benefits is that except of spine, it has no bones.
